Great Expectations

Latest Collage for Collage Play with Crowabout Challenge. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm sorry I haven't been around for the past few days...believe me I would rather have been here with you than hauling and spreading bag after bag after bag of mulch! I'm "bout dead"! I'm stillll not through, but am making alot of progress! Was trying to get done what I could before the rain came today....then that turned into fertilizing all my plants since it was going to rain.....whewwww...it's kinda nice to have a day off to catch up on other things!

I really like that quote. Guess we should remind ourselves of that. "I love myself"
I had a great time with you last week and wish we could do that every friday!
Love you, Molly

I could use a hand in my back woods when you're done. Love that you used Napoleon in this piece. He has mad skills!

I never fail to smile and take my time when I see your journal pages...they are so beautiful and intriguing. Nice one.

I know what you mean about being busy...I have been, too. And you still have more mulching to do? Ugh. lol

Peace & Love,

What a scrumptious collage! I love the "Alas, Poor Yorick" pose of your black and white lady and, of course, I love everything about the whole page. The beauty of collage is we are forced to go back and go back again so as not to miss one little detail - and there are lots of details! Fantastic work.

Well, you know already how much I love your collage. I don't know how you get such intricate and detailed and beautiful pieces done AND work outside and in the garden. You cannot be accused of being lazy. Wish we lived close so you could come work in my very sad yard.

I loved reading about your sister's yard and look forward to some pix - want to see those fairy houses!

And, lastly, I want a gold party! Holy moly! How does one go about having one (and not getting scammed)? Would love to know more about this too!

Well, I'm sure you're having another productive day. Hope you enjoy it!

I think you're the hardest working lady in Collage Town, Shelly! Not to mention Gardenville. I love, love, love this CollagePlay entry. It always amazes me how many elements you can use in your compositions. I am living vicariously off your garden pictures btw. It's been pouring here all week, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow too. I really wanted to do my window boxes this weekend, but they will have to wait. I did spend most of last Sunday doing a cleanup in my perennial beds, and so now you can actually the pink tulips and lavphender phlox blooming. In the back by our pond we have a woodland garden full of hellebores. Don't you just love them? And beleive it or not, my husband has nurtured three lilacs along for several years, and they are blooming now. I cannot wait to plant my annuals, but I think I better wait until April in case we have one of those late freezes. Still looking for a replacement for my dear lamanted arbor. Dreaming of spring......

Love,
Alberta

Marsha, hi Marsha! Evidently there are these Gold parties popping up everywhere, I think Julie the host gets a portion of all the money paid out! I'm not sure how you go about finding someone in your area that does the parties, but I bet they are around! I wish you lived closer toooo, we could party at the gold party and then Alberta, Molly and I could come work in your yard, and Barb, Susan, Ann, Anne and Marie could come by for wine and an art party!!!!!!What a time we would have!!
