What a Wonderful World!

And it IS a WONDERFUL WORLD isn't it??? I have been cooped up in the cabin for far too many days because the snow made our road impassable....today most of the snow is gone, the sky is bright blue, and the sun is shining! Today, going to the grocery store seems enlightening!! I have never looked so forward to buying groceries! Today I was sitting at the computer and saw something out the window that caught my eyes...I looked up and out the window straight ahead is a tree...I have a bird house on it, that I have never seen a bird go in...and there it was... the most beautiful, vibrant Blue Bird!! He looked like he was thinking about going in...maybe I will have to watch for a nest now! Well, Zippidy doo dahhhh, LOL, ya'll have a good day!

I adore this mermaid! I love your writing too on this one. I don't know if I have ever seen a bluebird here...lots of nasty bluejays though! They are noisy & dive-bomb my cats. We do have lovely cardinals too. They look so vibrant in the snow.

Your collage is wonderful! Eastern Bluebirds are cavity nesters... so maybe it will stay and raise a family!

I'm also such a fan of your work. I always love it. Sounds like we had similar days, going to the grocery store never seemed so wonderful. I've got critters that I watch in my back yard and they are so much fun. Can't wait till it's warm enough to get out there with them. Have a great weekend.

Thanks so much to you all for coming by! I refilled my bird feeders and getting quite a few visitors, I heard a pileted woodpecker today, boy was he loud, sure enough I looked out and there he was, so pretty!! Been working on a couple of collages and hitting a road block....ya'll know how that is...sometimes I think we just have to put it down and go do other things and come back to it later..usually works for me, let's hope so!

Silke, I noticed the roasted peppers you talked about in your blog, everytime I go there you entice me with something you are cooking! I have already made the smoked chicken, feta, basil and pasta combo you talked about onetime... we love it! I will be trying the peppers soon!! Thank you!
Hope you all have a great night, and so glad you came to see me!
