By The Sea

This weeks theme for Crowabout was a Sea theme! All I could think about when I was creating it, was how cold the water was at the beach the day we went. 74 degrees!!! Took me a while to take the plunge, and after I got used to it, it felt good!! Hope you all have a great 4th! We usually watch the fireworks from our deck, sometimes we see some pretty good ones, without having to drive anywhere! See yall soon!

This is so beautiful. I love your lettering and who doesn't love a trio of bathing beauties?
We can usually see fireworks from our street, from several different events. No need to fight the crazies. Now if the the dark time bugs will cooperate, we've got it made. y'all come back now, hear?

Thanks Ophelia and Susan for coming by to see me! Susan I just came in from watering outside...a little bit ago. I felt like I had little bugs all over me when I came in, I hope not! One chigger bite I got, drove me crazy last night- I know what you mean about the bugs!!

Fabulous colors and lettering, Shelly. The pictures from Florida are wonderful too, especially that majestic heron. Wow! I'm working on a painting of a blue heron right now. We have one that lives down by our pond, and I've never been able to get a decent photo of him. I believe you have inspired me to finish my painting today. Hope you have a happy 4th!
